Not much to report today as we leave Victoria Falls and fly to Joburgh to start our next adventure. We did experience a surprise though, the flight left on time and arrived on time. The plane was comfortable but short on head space, it was one row on the left and two rows on the right. Joburgh is quite a big airport, it took 10 minutes to taxi to the terminal, but as it was not a large plane we had to bus to the terminal.
Pass through passport control, collect luggage and are waved through customs. Say our goodbyes to everyone and look for our hotel. We were a great group where everyone got on well together, we even taught Paul from South Carolina a number of Aussie rhyming slang words. He is going to shock folks back home when he starts referring to China Plate and asks how are they hanging. I think we really educated him in some of our ways.
It is a lengthy walk to our hotel but we find it ok and at 3.30 head down to the bar.
We will eat here in the hotel and tomorrow we fly to Nairobi to start our next leg.
