The planning for this adventure began on 20 February 2025, when after many drinks at the Sand Bar in Rye Lodge we decided that Africa would be our next Crew Adventure. It has been a long time coming and after a few iterations along the way we will hopefully be departing for Capetown via Sydney and Johannesburg on Sunday 22 March 2026. I credit Kaye with our Title - Adventure before Dementia!
On this adventure we will start with a night in Sydney before we fly to Capetown via Joburg. We have four nights in Capetown before flying to Victoria Falls on Friday 27 March. On 28 March we meet up with our Collette Tour Group and start our Wilderness of Southern Africa Tour. After this tour ends we continue on to the Plains of Africa Tour with a Tanzanian extension where we experience the Seregenti.
All up we are away from 22 March returning on 30 April. We will travel through South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Kenya and Tanzania.
